Heather Nauert – a former Fox News anchor with no experience in international politics whose only governmental qualifications are 20 months as a State Department spokesperson, during which time she cited the D-Day landings as evidence of the “strong relationship” between the governments of the US and Germany, and six months as acting under-secretary of state for public affairs.
