Labour Party conference 2021: The New Statesman hosts fringe events

Two days of events attracted MPs, policy experts and Labour members.

As Labour gathered in Brighton for their first in-person annual conference since the pandemic, The New Statesman hosted a diverse and vibrant set of fringe events featuring speakers including Rachel Reeves, Sadiq Khan, Andy Burnham and David Lammy.

Over two days, The New Statesman live events were attended by almost 600 conference delegates. Discussion topics ranged from Labour’s electoral prospects to achieving net zero and were covered by press including the BBC and the Telegraph

“Coming to a New Statesman event is something that attracts many of our members, because they see that is has real intellectual clout”

Emily Thornberry MP, Shadow Trade Secretary
