“Mother of three” is how the Telegraph describes an HSBC director

"Sub-editor of sexism".

By Media Mole

Over the weekend, the Telegraph discovered something incredible. A mother of three – someone who has utilised their womb thrice, no less! – is in the running to chair the BBC Trust. But how? How can this vessel of hormones and maternal instinct work in such a high position of pressure and responsibility? I mean, she is regarded as one of the country’s leading businesswomen, has been a non-exec director of HSBC and PepsiCo, is the former chair and CEO of the Financial Times Group and has a degree from Harvard Business School, but the CHILDREN?! THE CHILDREN!!!
