The US is one of the countries worst affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Beyond the public health and economic considerations, in what ways will this unprecedented crisis affect the US’s global ties and priorities?
On 12 June, the New Statesman’s Spotlight policy supplement convened an online global policy forum, which brought together former and current leaders from politics, business and international organisations to discuss how we can meet the challenges of a post-pandemic world. In this session, the New Statesman‘s US editor Emily Tamkin is joined by Rep. Ro Khanna, First Vice-Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and former national co-chair of Bernie Sanders’ 2020 presidential campaign, to discuss US foreign policy after Covid-19.
