If you were going to yell at a colleague, where would be the best place to do it?
This mole guesses most people wouldn’t pick the landing outside a BBC newsroom, in the heart of Westminster. Especially if the people doing the yelling are politicians.
But that is just what Labour MP John Mann did today, as he confronted Ken Livingstone over his comments about Labour and anti-Semitism.

“Go back and check what Hitler did” was the constant refrain from Mann, who also accused Livingstone of being a “Nazi apologist”. The latter stayed on his phone and carried on walking as the MP harrangued him, followed all the while by cameras.
“There’s a book called Mein Kampf, you obviously haven’t read it,” Mann continued, as he followed Livingstone up the stairs.
Mann has joined Sadiq Khan in calling for Livingstone to be suspended from the Labour party.

Speaking about the encounter on BBC News, Livingstone later said Mann “didn’t want to engage in debate”.
This mole suggests he might need to consider getting off the phone first, next time he wants to have a discussion about the history of Nazi Germany.
