Mark Garnier, a minister for International Trade, has admitted to asking his former assistant to buy sex toys for his wife and another woman.
He took her to Soho and gave her the money for two vibrators, waiting outside a shop as she bought them.
He also called her “sugar tits”.
The Cabinet Office is investigating to determine whether he broke the ministerial code with these actions, which occurred in 2010.
His former assistant Caroline Edmondson made the accusations in the Mail on Sunday, and they are part of a wave of sexual harassment allegations against MPs currently swirling around Westminster.
More politicians are expected to be named.
