WATCH: Donald Trump calls Apple CEO Tim Cook “Tim Apple”

Me orange, you apple.

By Media Mole

In the best presidential slip-up since he failed numerous times to pronounce the word “anonymous”, Donald Trump – himself descended from clementines – called Apple CEO Tim Cook “Tim Apple”.

“We appreciate it very much, Tim Apple,” he said, casually announcing the CEO on his panel. While Ivanka looked concerned, Cook didn’t bat an eyelid. Perhaps he truly is simply an apple. Perhaps his full name is Tim Cook-ing Apple.

This new name reminds your mole very much of that golden age of journalism when teen music magazines in the UK used to refer to popstars with their band name as a surname – Shaznay All Saints, Charlie Busted, Heidi Sugababes, Ben A1. Tim Apple is standing on the shoulders of giants.
