Should Boris Johnson be worried about Dominic Cummings’s Covid claims?

If his Twitter feed is anything to go by, the former advisor's select committee hearing will be explosive.

On Wednesday 26 May Dominic Cummings, Boris Johnson’s former senior adviser, is due to appear before the health and science committees to answer questions on the government’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Over the weekend Cummings published a rambling thread of nearly 60 tweets laying out a series of accusations against former government colleagues including senior ministers. If he produces evidence for the most damning of these claims during his select committee appearance, the consequences for the government could be grave.

As Westminster braces for Wednesday’s hearing, Anoosh, Stephen and Ailbhe discuss how worried Johnson should be about Cummings’s claims.

Then in You Ask Us, they take your questions on why Liz Truss remains popular with the Conservative grass-roots.
