When Asif Ali Zardari went wild over Sarah Palin

David Cameron won’t get a welcome like this.

By George Eaton

With Pakistan’s President Zardari in town, I thought it might be worth digging out some footage of his famously flirtatious meeting with Sarah Palin.

While Palin played it safe and simply said, “I am honoured to meet you,” Zardari couldn’t control his emotions.

“You are even more gorgeous than I thought,” he said, before adding: “Now I know why the whole of America is crazy about you.” Later, as Palin continued to pose for the cameras, he offered to hug her.

One thing’s for sure, after his criticism of Pakistan, David Cameron won’t get a welcome like this.
