Skills Minister tweets about Numeracy Day – and misspells numeracy

By Media Mole

In a delicious moment of irony, the skills minister Anne Milton managed to misspell – or perhaps invent an entirely new word for – “numeracy” in a tweet celebrating  a national day of skills.

She also missed out an apostrophe and inserted a random double space.

“Its national numberacy day so test how good you are at numbers. It’s  never too late to improve your skills #nationalnumeracyday”

She appears to be saving her literacy skills for a future day, tweeting shortly afterwards that “National Spelling Day is coming up soon!” Can’t wait for natural sapling dye, it’s one of your mole’s favourites.
