Nigel Farage forgets which side he’s on in the EU debate

“Once again David Cameron makes a powerful argument to vote Remain.”

The EU referendum campaign seems to be tiring out poor Nige. The Ukip leader was caught by a few hasty screengrabbers on Twitter tweeting in favour of the Prime Minister’s argument for staying in the EU:

He hastily deleted the tweet, and replaced it with this:

Once again @David_Cameron shows why we must Leave EU, as he avoids the big issues like EU open door immigration.

Your mole can only assume that Farage is confused about who is campaigning for what.

Perhaps he was temporarily thrown off track by a row about how “poncey” his name is in the Commons earlier.

During PMQs, David Cameron thanked Ben Bradshaw MP for not using the “poncey, foreign pronunciation” of Farage’s surname:
