The failure of governments to implement a right to housing has left societies “exposed” to pandemics such as the coronavirus crisis, outgoing UN special rapporteur Leilani Farha has said.
In an interview with New Statesman special projects writer Samir Jeraj, Farha says stay-at-home orders have exposed just how poor housing is for millions of people around the world.
