PMQs analysis: What we learned from Keir Starmer’s lines of attack

If you missed Prime Minister’s Questions earlier today, then New Statesman political correspondent Patrick Maguire has written a thorough summary of everything we learned from it, including how new Labour leader Keir Starmer wants the word “slow” to define the government’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

Patrick writes about how virtual proceedings have changed parliament in more ways than one, and how ministers appear to have more questions than answers on social care. “The most startling revelation Starmer’s questions yielded came when Raab revealed that the government did not know how many social care workers had died from coronavirus (by comparison, he could reveal that 69 NHS workers had died),” he writes.
