Take issue with the government helping Julia; the campaign
As feminist blogger @AmandaMarcotte put it: don’t be silly, Julia – “Your government isn’t for you! It’s only for rich people!”
How you respond to the campaign depends, for the most part, on your attitude towards the President. The presenters of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, like the vast majority of #Julia’s twitter critics, chose to ignore central message of the interactive feature: the stark contrast in ways Obama’s and Romney’s policies effect women. The Joe‘s hosts went from flippant to disregard for the video to get a little nationalist:

vitriolic criticism
“Our character is John Wayne, it’s rugged individualism.”
And really, who wants to work in a community garden!?
