Hats off to Liberal Conspiracy for an intriguing story about a group of libertarian health “campaigners” called Nurses for Reform, with ties to the right-wing Adam Smith Institute. Its members recently met with the Tory leader and have separately derided the National Health Service in, um, somewhat colourful terms.

Last month they met with David Cameron to discuss their ideas, which included wholesale privatisation of the NHS, the scrapping of national pay agreements for health workers, and nurses being given brands like consumer products.
