MJ: the story continues

She's got diamonds (made from MJ's hair) on the soles of her shoes

By Sophie Elmhirst

Just when you thought Michael Jackson stories were old news, when all those trying to make a quick buck out of MJ’s passing were finally quietening down, the New Scientist gives us the literally dazzling story of . . .

Jackson’s hair being turned into diamonds!

“Our plan is to give people an opportunity to own a diamond made from Michael Jackson’s DNA,” said Dean VandenBiesen, founder of LifeGem. “We are currently evaluating Jackson’s hair sample to determine how many diamonds can be created. This will be a limited collection and we anticipate great interest.”

But how did they get the hair . . .

Yes, it’s true. His hair caught fire, the producers and friends put it out and, er, kept the proceeds. Heroism has never seen such commercial gain.
