Who is this, and what have they done with Ed Miliband?

What's happened to Ed Miliband?

By Media Mole

Remarkable scenes on Absolute Radio. It looks like Ed Miliband. It sounds like Ed Miliband. But it’s laughing and telling relatable jokes. Your mole is confused.

Snark aside, Ed Miliband rolled back the years – this was 2010-era, “Ed speaks human” Miliband laughing and joking about 1980s videogaming, baseball, his preferred curry, snooker and more besides. What’s happened?

The mole wonders if the cautious operators at Labour HQ have been keeping the real Miliband in cotton wool for the final days of the campaign and are now bringing him out for the last few days of the campaign, with the Labour leader’s earlier campaign appearances largely conducted by a low-grade android.

Or perhaps this is the android.
