Following a story yesterday about the supposed “secret plot to make a multicultural UK” (a story which, in fact, rehashed old news), the Daily Mail today carries this cartoon:
Sunny Hundal, who flagged up the illustration on Liberal Conspiracy, says: “Yes, it’s really a man marrying a sheep in the name of ‘multiculturalism’. Because, you know, immigrants are clearly no different to animals.”
Is this a blatantly racist cartoon, or is there some sort of satirical, non-offensive meaning that we’re completely missing? You tell us.
